I grew up in the U.S., in a “car” family.? My Dad owned a series of fun autos, which he bought for their speed or looks.? Economy was never a factor and many of the models were big and showy.? When I finished school I moved to the U.K.? I realized? that I would need to buy a car that made sense, so I bought a new?VW Polo.? It was surprisingly easy to get used to driving my cute little car and I loved the low maintenance.? I feel like I can drive forever on a tank of gas, too.? Every time I easily zip my car into any available parking space, I think of Dad’s huge cars - and smile.
